I hate that companys insist in placing HDDs in DVD-RW and Blu-ray recorders. I have a PVR built into my Digibox, and don't want an HDD in my DVD/Blu-ray recoders. I had to search everywhere to find my DVD-RW without an HDD.
Listen up manufacturers, make atleast one version without the HDD, and sell it cheaper. Why should I pay £50/$100 more just because you want to put a HDD I don't want in the god damn Blu-ray recorder.
Whereas those of us living in the US who *want* a hard drive in the box -- for time-shifting and *really easy* archiving of the shows we want to keep -- are equally put out because such machines are *nearly impossible* to find on this side of the Atlantic, even at a much higher premium than the one you quote.
