And another asinine comment from a blu-ray fanboy..NOTED..shabang!
The CE support is RISING.. Toshiba, Microsoft, Samsung, LG, Onkyo, Integra, Meridian, Shinco, Alco (Venturer), Denon
I'm betting Pioneer and another bigger brand name will join the HD DVD.. I'm pretty sure they have an HD DVD version of their Elite and other players in the lab. Count on it.
Denon's player is BluRay... but CE and Studio support for HD-DVD is picking up.
The Integra is likely the same as the Onkyo DV-HD805 which is, in turn, uses the XA2 as its basis, though not a simple rebadge. The XA2 is Toshiba's flagship player and includes HDMI 1.3, HQV Reon processing, 1080p output, and after the next firmware update, 1080p24 output. From the specs of the Onkyo I don't see anything right off that it adds, but the Integra looks to add improved DACs for those using internal decoding. These players likely aren't the best values for most folks but they shouldn't be disregarded either.
