You can see how your local area HD PQ quality is in the local HD reception section of avsforum.com. In Orlando, we have Brighthouse networks and their feed is a higher bit rate then both D*TV and Dish as confirmed by ISF techs. I can't comment for other cities, but for me, I'm stuck with cable until satellite improves compression or adds so many HD channels that it's worth the trade off in PQ.
