If I recall correctly, Dish Network made similar claims recently, so this holds out hope the channels will be HD from the broadcasters, not just upsampled.

Frankly, I don't see much use in upsampling channels to HDTV; just sell/lease HDTV boxes that have good upsampling circuitry for SD channels and save the bandwidth.
