O'ZZIO's budget-priced 32-inch LCD TV

Japanese manufacturer O'ZZIO has announced a new entry in its St'yleVis'ion line of LCD TVs, with the 32-inch HDV-32B1 set to hit store shelves in Japan this November. Apparently retailing for a budget-priced ¥79,900 ($670), this one boasts a 1,366 x 768 resolution, 450cd/m2 brightness, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, and an 8ms response time -- and, should you choose to use 'em, built-in speakers pumping out a room-rocking 10 watts each. While it cuts corners on price (and style), it doesn't seem to skimp on inputs, with single HDMI, D4, and component ports, pairs of s-video and composite, and an analog RGB rounding out the lineup. Of course, actually getting one of these over here would likely cost far more than it's worth, so we'll just have to live vicariously through our Japanese readers and hope some other companies take the cue and start an all out LCD price war.

eh, my 32" lcd (hyundai) from newegg dot com was only 30 bucks more over 6 months ago. It equalls all the specs and has more inputs�not to mention it comes in a sleek silver skin.

Actually, the name is uglier. What's with all the apostrophes? I would seriously not by this because of that reason alone, if there weren't already a raft of other good reasons. $670 is still way, way too much money to drop on a 32" television anyway.

The D4 input alone shows this is mainly for the Nippon market.

You can buy a much more aesthetically pleasing Syntax Olevia 32" LCD flat panel TV from Office Depot right now for $699. And it is cheaper online.
