I have a Moxi from Charter as well, and I must say that it is not that great. From my experience it is both loud and slow. With good air flow around the unit it runs much better, but it still is sluggish when watching or recording HD content. Want to record two HD streams? Don't bother trying to check the "ticker" or the program guide... Moxi grinds to a near stand still when recording two HD streams. The main complaint I have is that in a quiet room you can hear the HDD and the fans, which are much louder than my PC. Another drawback is that my unit only holds ~40 hours of SD and ~20 hours of HD. Hopefully Charter begins offering a better DVR solution soon.
